Overview

Introducing the Milwaukee County Foreclosure Initiative, a program that will offer zero interest loans to help people purchase and rehabilitate foreclosed properties.

Funds Available

The county has committed a $837,000 loan fund to the program,
money that came from land sale funds rather than tax dollars. 

HUD Counseling Agencies

Anyone wishing to apply for a loan must contact a HUD Certified Counseling Agency.

Do I Qualify?

In order to be considered, individuals MUST be currently receiving services from one of the following Milwaukee County departments:

Department on Aging
Child Support Services
Office for Persons with Disabilities
Family Care
Department of Health and Human Services
House of Corrections
Veterans Affairs

Applications Will Be Taken on a Competitive Basis & Must Be Post Marked By June 23, 2014!
