The Wells Fargo NeighborhoodLIFT program supports sustainable homeownership and neighborhood stability. The program allocated $15.5 Million to Milwaukee homebuyers and neighborhoods.
Milwaukee is the fourth city in 2014 to receive the NeighborhoodLIFT program, and is now one of 26 housing markets across the country that will benefit from a total of $200 million Wells Fargo has committed through its LIFT programs.
NeighborhoodLIFT Milwaukee provides downpayment assistance grants of $15,000 to qualified applicants.
To receive the full grant amount, participants buying homes with LIFT program down payment assistance grants must commit to live in the home for five years and qualify for a first mortgage on the property.
All available NeighborhoodLIFT funds have been allocated. Check back August 4th to see if remaining funds are available.
A Mortgage Pre-Approval from a qualified lender is required for this program.
Do I Qualify?
This program is not limited to first time homebuyers. Some property qualifications apply.
